Celeb-Level Security In The Palm Of Your Hand

Celeb-Level Security In The Palm Of Your Hand

If your family is about the same size as ours, then you need to keep reading…

It’s 2020. The world is in a very weird place right now. But one thing’s constant: your safety is super important. Especially if you are female. Especially if you are living alone. Especially if you are living in a big city. Should I go on? The list of reasons is extensive… clearly.

Formerly, private security was really only a service accessed by the elite (think Meghan Markle, Kim K. etc). But one thing the last year has taught me: it doesn’t matter who you are, if you are young, female and alone, you are at risk.

Last year, exactly a year ago Memorial Day weekend, I had one of the biggest scares of my life. I was on a plane to Bali by way of Singapore for what I thought would be a fun two weeks with friends. I finished my work and was literally watching Mary Poppins Returns (I know… great throwback…) and about to nap when my phone started freaking out with alerts that someone was in my home (yes, I have Nest cams). I’ll pause here because the details are pretty pervy (you can read more on Page Six if you’re curious).

When I finally felt safe enough to tell my story, I was SHOCKED to learn how many young women in NYC had similar safety issues. From creepy doormen, to lingering landlords, crazy ex boyfriends and the list goes on.
I’m not trying to scare anyone but it would make my whole experience worthwhile if I could help prevent even just one of you from an equally bad or worse situation. If you are living alone in a big city, you need cameras and you need the Bond App. You’ll thank me later ;).

xoxo,
